TESTING LABORATORIES

Testing Laboratories are accredited per ISO 17025 standard, covering the most relevant sectors of the automotive industry

  • ENVIRONMENTAL LABORATORY

We perform validation and reliability tests on components and subsystems in accordance with national and international standards and OEM specifications. In this laboratory, extreme weather conditions such as temperature, humidity, temperature variation, and solar radiation are simulated.

  • MATERIALS LABORATORY

We analyzed the properties of materials and components subjected to various actions, through destructive and non-destructive testing. Tests are carried out whose objective is the characterization of various materials such as polymers, textiles, coatings, foams, adhesives, as well as electrical cables.

  • FIRE LABORATORY

We evaluate the fire behavior of vehicle components and materials in accordance with Regulation UN ECE R-118, national and international standards, and OEM specifications. We carry out the tests defined in Regulation UN ECE R-118 to assess fire behavior (flammability, combustion index, and melting behavior) and the ability to repel fuel or lubricant from materials used in vehicles of category M3, classes II, and III.

  • DEFECT ANALYSIS

It is a cross-sectional area of great relevance in the laboratory. We develop targeted analysis methods that determine the causes of failures and identify ways to avoid errors in the future.

  • Photometry LABORATORY

This laboratory is equipped with a goniometer used with a colorimeter, and a spectroradiometer (spectral range: 360 – 830 nm) in combination with the telescopic optical probe. These devices are ideal for radiometric, photometric, and colorimetric measurements for automotive interior lighting (LED or SSL) characterization.
