On September 17th, in Lisbon, the signing of the second batch of the Mobilizing Agendas and Green Agendas for business innovation took place. The Agendas are part of Component C5 – Capitalization and Business Innovation – of the Resilience Dimension of the PRR – Recovery and Resilience Plan, and aim to accelerate the structural transformation of the Portuguese economy, based on R&D+i and the diversification and specialization of the productive structure.

ISQCTAG is part of two consortia, such as the Validation and Process Engineering Laboratory, in the Agendas “Green Auto: Green Innovation for the Automotive Industry”, led by the Mangualde factory of the Stellantis Group, and “NGS – New Generation Storage”, led by DST Solar. In the totality of the two Agendas, ISQCTAG is responsible for the execution of around 6.2 million euros of investment. The responsibility that ISQCTAG assumes, in terms of investment, clearly reflects the company’s commitment to supporting the ecological and energy transition, digital transformation and the intelligent, sustainable and inclusive growth of the Portuguese economy, through the paradigms of green vehicles and green factories .

As the only SME in the municipality of Monção to participate in this PRR initiative, ISQCTAG reiterates, once again, its role in supporting the region, standing out as one of the business drivers of the regional economy and in attracting qualified human resources, through offering highly specialized services adapted to the unique needs of each client.

André Mendes, CEO of ISQCTAG states that, “Participation in the Mobilizing Agendas demonstrates the company’s commitment to supporting and promoting innovative and technically advanced solutions for the Automotive Industry. The Agendas are also an essential instrument to consolidate the company’s growth strategy in the core thematic areas of ISQCTAG, through the increase of its R&D+i activities”.

ISQCTAG, Automotive Technologies, is dedicated to providing specialized services in process engineering and component validation testing for the automotive industry. The team that makes up ISQCTAG has technical knowledge and proven experience in improving processes and tests, benefiting, on the one hand, from the 50 years of experience of ISQ – Instituto de Soldadura e Qualidade, in specialized tests, and on the other, from the vast experience of CTAG- Centro Tecnológico de Automoción de Galicia, in 4.0 technologies applied to industrial processes, namely robotics, automation, digitalization and Big Data.
